Employee Testimonials

Gabrielle Farren

How long have you worked with Vicinia Gardens?

I have worked at Vicinia Gardens for almost a year (will be a year at the end of June).

What is it like to work at Vicinia Gardens?

I really enjoy working with the elderly residents, especially in the Memory Care Facility. Working in the Memory Care building has its challenges, but it is definitely worth it and rewarding to help those in need who struggle with Dementia and Alzheimer’s diseases. The staff are all amazing and really care about their residents. The Resident directors are all amazing and make you feel comfortable and recognized for all of our hard work through words of appreciation.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part about the job is being able to connect with my residents who are having good days, bad days, or anything in between and being about to brighten their day with a conversation and a smile. I like knowing that my residents are being well taken care of. I see my resident almost every day and being around them so much make them they feel like family!

Are you excited about the upcoming CNA training opportunity?

I am very excited about the upcoming CNA program as it is an opportunity for all of us aides to gain more knowledge that can help us become better care givers for our residents. I am all for continuing education and bettering ourselves to not only help our resident, but also to allow us to become better educated individuals in society. This is a great opportunity for Vicinia Gardens and its employees!

Compassionate Staff

The staff at Vicinia Gardens ensures that our residents are as comfortable and happy as possible. We only hire folks who have energetic, positive and outgoing attitudes. More importantly, we employ individuals who have a heart for serving others, and exemplify our mission:

In our community, we act as advocates for each and every resident. We promote a healthy , comfortable and dignified quality of life, while encouraging socialization and independence.

At Vicinia Gardens, we go out of our way to enrich the daily lives of our residents. We train all of our personnel to care for seniors and attend to their needs with compassion and understanding. In addition, we give continual guidance and teaching to our staff on how to care for all residents in a variety of life stages. We look forward to welcoming you to the neighborhood!
