Kelly Steffey and her husband Steve have been managing our community for more than five years. Their dedication and commitment to our residents are unmatched in our area and have earned us the sterling reputation for service and amenities that we enjoy today! We have a caring and compassionate staff that is trained in senior and memory care and is onsite 24-7 to support our seniors’ individual care plans.
Kelly Steffey RN, BS, CDCM – Manager
Kelly is a licensed Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience including critical care at McLaren and Visiting Nurse services. She has obtained a Bachelor of Health Care Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint as well as a certified dementia care manager and trainer. Kelly is also part Owner of Assisti Care, LLC, our management company. At Assisti Care, she oversees the licensing and management of our facilities. Kelly’s close, compassionate relationship with our residents and directors makes her the perfect leader of our medical team.
Skylar Pratt – Executive Director
Skylar is from Byron Michigan, a very rural town on the east side of the state. He started his journey into the medical field at a Surgery Center as a Clinical assistant, until he moved into senior living care. Skylar as an aide at Caretel Inns of Linden, and then moved to a Resident Aide position at Vicinia Gardens of Fenton. During this time, he attended University of Michigan- Flint for 3 years of pre-nursing before becoming an Assistant Resident Director at Vicinia Gardens Fenton. In 2017 he became licensed through MCAL as a State, and Nationally Certified Assisted Living Director, as well as becoming a SERV safe Certified Food Manager. He also is a Certified Nurse Aide, in which he provided care to patients of the Medical Team Hospice of Flint, Livonia, and Grand Rapids. Skylar plans to consistently continue his education as he enjoys learning different aspects of the Medical Field. All in all, Skylar plans his career to continue with Senior Living and Vicinia Gardens.
